Cakeland is excited to feature PangeaSeed Foundation for our featured charity in November. A portion of proceeds from tickets purchased for Sundays in November will go toward the international non-profit. Through the synthesis between creative expression, nature, and society, Pangeaseed's mission is to powerfully reconnect us and communities with the planet's most important ecosystem — the ocean!
Through its public Sea Walls: Artists for Oceans, Pangeaseed has implemented over 400 large-scale murals that address pressing environmental issues.
Cakeland's owner Scott Hove, has been a longtime advocate of ocean conversation and has collaborated with PangeaSeed in the past.
“I am thrilled to be working with PangeaSeed again... they create community with art projects around the world, with the ultimate worthy goal: preserving our oceans and in particular sharks! I’ll never forget free diving with Tre'’ and Akira in the Yucatán in the midst of massive and gentle whale sharks on one of their nature expeditions. I encourage everyone to support these fighters for our natural world!”

"All of us at PangeaSeed Foundation are incredibly excited to become the Cakeland charity partner for November 2020," says Tre' Packard, PangeaSeed Foundation's founder and executive director. "Our oceans are the life support system of the planet. Together, through art and activism, we have a fantastic opportunity to engage and inspire communities to become better stewards of our oceans."
